Lachlan Moroney

Lachlan Moroney arrives to Volunteer at Lombadina and Beagle Bay

Lachlan Moroney first came to the Kimberley on an Immersion Program with his school, Trinity College, Perth.  He spent time in Broome and Wyndham at that time and had such a positive experience that he felt compelled to return and offer his help wherever needed.

Lachlan is presently in the Diocese of Broome to volunteer his time during a Gap Year prior to commencing his Uni studies in Mechanical Engineering.  He is located in the Dampier Peninsula Parish where he is assisting Parish Priest, Fr John Bosco, primarily in Lombadina but also in Beagle Bay, when there is a need.

Lachlan is seen here on arrival into Lombadina with Fr John Bosco, at right, and Volunteer Co-ordinator, Janet Ryan, at left.
Broome Diocese acknowledges and pays respect to the Traditional Owners and Elders, both past and present, of the lands on which Broome Diocese offices and operations are located.
